The team focused on pump repair today, finishing up 2 pump repairs, as well as installing the IWP system on each pump. The Better Pumps bearings were added to one of the sites, but opted to use the regular ball bearings, as an inconsistency was found between their pump at Messiah and the pumps here. They are working to find a solution but can use regular ball bearings for the time being and will collect data at each site. The IWP team installed 2 systems, but did not install cellular capability as we are still troubleshooting issues with it. While the pumps were being repaired, other group members spent their time with the villagers getting to know them, teaching them hygiene, and sharing the Gospel with them. One member said it was one of the highlights of her life. Here are some pictures from the 2 repairs today.
